"Kirean started speech therapy about a year ago whereby he was only able to communicate in single words.
His speech delay impacted his learning and ability to make friends, causing frustration to him and people around him. Now he has transformed into a bubbly boy, speaking in complete sentences and able to express his thoughts clearly. "Besides being a Speech Therapist, Ms Magan is also an experienced Language Therapist. We sought her help for SQ again last year when she was 6 because she was lagging behind in her reading skills. SQ reading skills improved by leap & bounds (her reading scale improved by 9 months) after just 3 months of therapy with Ms Magan.
As we have witnessed the great improvement in SQ's reading skills, we continued the language therapy at Leo Magan Speech Sanctuary. SQ enjoys her lessons at Leo Magan very much.
SQ is now in Primary 1 and is doing well in school. In the beginning of the year, she was only able to learn 2 new words a day after 1 hour of intensive revision. Now, she's able to learn all the words in her spelling list within 1-2 hours. She has also been able to score full marks in spelling, English & Maths tests. Her confidence in learning has improved and she is now more independent in her reading.
We are very thankful to Ms Magan and her team in Leo Magan Speech Sanctuary for helping both our kids. We have every confidence in them and we believe that with their continuous support, both JH and SQ will overcome their speech and learning challenges."

"When Shawn started his speech language therapy with Ms Magan, he had problems expressing his thoughts. He was about 4.5 years old and had communication issues with his peers. A few speech therapists and doctors were sure that he has had Autism. Shawn do not like going for therapy sessions. He was diagnosed with Specific Language Impairment (SLI).
As a desperate mother and finding him to be normal other than communication problem & slight behaviour issues, I found Leo Magan on the web. After the first meeting, I was very sure that they were the one my son needs. After his first speech therapy lesson, he is always looking forward to every single lesson.
To us, Magan is really a God send angle. She is encouraging, positive and sincere. After a year with her, Shawn is such a different boy now. "My son Vernon, now 5 years old, has been undergoing speech therapy with Leo Magan Speech Sanctuary Pte Ltd from April 2008 for an oral developmental problem that may affect his learning.

When Dominique started speech therapy at Leo Magan Speech Sanctuary, he had limited vocabulary and speech, as well as a slight social communications issue.

"Grace was first identified by our doctor to have developmental delay and was sent to Special School when she was 18 months old while attending full time childcare centre. At the childcare centre, she was often bullied & ostracized by her friends as she could not verbalize/expressed her needs & wants in single words, resulting in Grace playing alone.
Since sending Grace to Leo Magan Speech Sanctuary in Nov 2007 at the age of 4 years + for speech therapy. She is now able to express and communicate successfully with her peers & teachers. "I am sure no parents would like the idea of your own child being labelled autistic. We discovered Gabriel showed some symptoms of autism a year ago (2 years old). The obvious symptom was lack of eye contact and overly obsessed with spelling.
Desperately searching for means and ways we can do to help him. We found Leo Magan Speech Sanctuary on the web. That was when we started to learn how we as a parent can help him.
Gabriel started to use his vocabulary from the very first appointment with Magan. She teaches us ways to help him to start talking and maintaining eye contact. Many of these methods are very trivial that most of us won't realise how important these are to special children like Gabriel.

"We have been consulting Magan regarding my daughter's stuttering problem, which we noticed when she was attending pre-school. She is currently in Primary 5 and her stuttering has already improved a lot from the time of the initial consultation. From time to time, she would still stutter. However, this would be mitigated by my daughter applying the techniques taught to her by Magan, minimising the stuttering.
Magan would also augment the speech therapy treatment by engaging the parents after each sessions so that the lessons from the session could be followed-up by the parents.
Overall, Magan has helped my daughter to effectively manage her stuttering problem through various techniques and her initiative to engage the child's parents."

"My son JH has a problem with stuttering. When he was 3 years old, we were rather concern as he was having difficulty expressing himself. We sought Ms Magan's help and through the speech therapy sessions with her, JH's fluency in speech improved tremendously. Besides helping JH through speech therapy, Ms Magan also shared with us how we may help him at home.
I find her tips very useful especially on how to manage my other 2 kids so that they understand JH's situation and give him the appropriate support to overcome his stuttering. JH is still undergoing therapy but he is now able to speak fluently most of the time. We trust that with Ms Magan's continuous help, JH will be able to overcome his stuttering.
My youngest daughter SQ also showed signs of stuttering when she was about 4 years old. She was discharged by Ms Magan after 1 year of speech therapy and she has been fluent in her speech since then."

"When Caleb just started speech therapy with Magan, his speech is garbled and nobody can understand him. He is almost speaking in another foreign language. His behaviour is also horrible.
Now people around him can understand him, his social skills is much better and no behavioural issues in school. He is also able to answer questions. Magan has done a very good in helping Caleb.

"The therapy has been very effective in helping me to cope with my fluency of speech. Magan taught me a lot of speech technique that is useful in my daily speech, which helps to stop the blockage in stuttering.
