I am glad people are educated about stuttering being a real speech difficulty due to different parts of the brain not working together to produce fluent speech. It is not a psychological problem.

The many adult stutterers around also tells you that it is not something children will just ‘grow out of’. I know my clients can and have achieved control over their stutter with speech therapy because therapy can train the different parts of the brain to work together differently for fluent speech.

Actually all of our clients benefited from speech therapy and we have many testimonials. There are many good speech therapy techniques out there to treat  stuttering / stammering. Seeking professional help and working to achieve better fluency can and will positively impact one’s life.
